Coaching

My name is Suzanne Round and I am a BHSQ Level 4 Senior Coach and member of the Accredited Professional Coaches register.

I have worked with horses for many years.....too many years! I spent many of those years working internationally, gaining experience from top professionals, but nothing beats being back here, there really is no place like home.

My passion is to help people understand their horse in order to develop a strong and positive relationship. My approach emcompasses all aspects of horsemanship to promote the physical and mental wellbeing of the horse, and so giving the best opportunity for success.

I coach all types of horse and rider regardless of level, and teach both on and off site.

I coach a wide variety of people, from top competitors wanting to build stamina and suppleness in their horses or vary their horses routine, some of my clients are working on mindset and confidence after accidents or injuries and some want to get out competing but need the support to do so.

I like to maintain a sense of fun in my training as I always say - none of us are going to the Olympics but it doesn't mean we can't try................because some of you may get there!

Schooling Livery

We now offer schooling livery for £200 per week.

Price includes bedding, haylage and 5 days ridden work.

Training Center

We are now offering training on our own horses.

Are you looking for Private or Semi Private Dressage/Pole work lessons?

Our sessions would suit people that have riding experience and are looking to develop their skills or are looking at getting back into riding after a break. Do you have something in particular you would like to work on? Or simply enjoy the consistency of riding the same horse each week?

The following lessons are available:

We offer Private or Semi-private lessons:

Private 30 minutes - £40
Private 45 minutes - £50
Semi Private 30 minutes - £35pp
Semi Private 45 minutes - £40pp

Weight limit: 13 Stone / 83kg

Age limit: 8yrs and above - We do not take complete beginners.

You must provide your own riding hat and it must comply with current safety standards

Payment via bank transfer prior to the lesson or cash on the day.

Please note your hat and weight will be checked at your induction

48 hours notice for cancellation without charge, anything cancelled within 48 hours will be charged in full.

Meet the Team

I'm very grateful to have a fantastic team -

Georgia Heslop joined the team in 2021, she is now our Assistant Manager and handles the day to day running of the livery yard. Georgia and her horse Jeremy currently compete at BE 90

Amelia Stubbs joined the team in 2024 and works alongside Georgia, Amelia will be taking her coaching exams and will be teaching in our training center.
